Autonomous trucking company TuSimple Inc Plans to Go Public

Werner Enterprises, Schneider, also has equity investments in the self-driving truck company TuSimple Inc

Autonomous trucking company TuSimple Inc. got hundreds of millions of dollars in early seed money from Chinese investors and U.S. trucking freight companies. The Autonomous trucking company TuSimple has filed paperwork to go public. TuSimple Inc plans on getting listed in the U.S. stock market in March, according to reports.

Morgan Stanley is the lead IPO banker, reports have said. TuSimple Inc said it raised $215 million in a 2019 financing round that valued it at $1.2 billion. TuSimple Inc declined to share the latest valuation.

TuSimple is said to be partnering with Navistar International Corp. (NYSE: NAV) to sell a long-haul autonomous truck by 2024. Werner Enterprises, Schneider, also announced an equity investment in the self-driving truck company.
