Semi was unveiled in November 2017. During the presentation, CEO Elon Musk touted a range of over 500 miles with a full load and zero-to-60 times that would rival some sedans.
The supplier expects 2,500 Semis in 2021 and up to 25,000 Semis produced in 2023. A sleeper cab version is also expected to be produced in 2021. According to the source, Tesla wants to eventually reach a capacity of 50,000 Semis per year.

RC builds will start May 2021. Pilot prod will start in July 2021 & the start of prod will be Aug 2021 (for this suppliers parts). Cumulative builds of 350 by Aug 2021.
